This blog post is all about a recipe that contains all that a child loves - chocolate and cheese! Today I am sharing with you a quick recipe for Chocolate Cheese Balls that are easy to make, eat and carry along anywhere. In fact making these can be a fun activity with your kids, just like it's one for Aryaa too. It's a great dish to indulge in the goodness of chocolate with a twist, and is loved by kids and adults. It also makes for the perfect lockdown snack.

Recipe: Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jelly Cookie Sandwich
So today's blog post is all about a fun dish which I had come up with last year for Aryaa's school tiffin time. Aryaa loves peanut butter and strawberry jelly candy, and so using those along with cookies, I created the Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jelly Cookie Sandwich for her. Now during the lockdown too I have to keep making dishes that she likes especially for snack time, and I involve her in no fire cooking as well, so this is a quick and fun one which she loves to make and then eat too.

Summer Perfect Juice Recipes - Carrot Ginger-ale
With a hot hot summer on our heads and also because of the lockdown, I have decided to switch aerated drinks and other packaged drinks, with healthier options. Cold pressed juices are my all time favourite because of the nutritional value that they contain, and this summer it is going to be all about them. So I am sharing some easy peasy recipes. In case you don't have a cold pressed juicer, don't worry, you can make these with your regular juicer or food processor/mixer, because that is still going to be healthier than having other packaged drinks.
Today I am sharing a juice recipe called Carrot Ginger-ale that is super refreshing and nutritious. It's kid-friendly too! So let's begin!

Benefits of Sabja/Basil Seeds & How to include it into your Diet
A lot of you have seen me on my Instagram regularly consuming Sabja/Basil Seeds for over a year now. Some people asked me why I take it, what are the benefits and some people asked me for recipes that could help them to consume it. So today I thought, a blog post would be the perfect way to spell it all out. And this also spells the beginning of my May 2020 Blogging Challenge which I am super excited about.😊

#FeelFullStayLight with the New Saffola Active Soups
I recently started working out regularly after a few failed attempts in the last couple of years, and this time I have my fitness goals chalked out with no scope for failure. Those who know me know that I can't diet and need to keep eating every few hours, that too something that is yummy and not boring. I work out in the evenings now as that is what my routine permits, and so I need to fuel myself well before a workout and that too with something that fills me up and does not make me get hungry quickly. I also need to eat the right thing after my workout for my fitness efforts to take effect. To satisfy so many things without taking too much trouble is where most of the problem arises.

Ice Creams vs Frozen Desserts
It's the time of the year which we call legitimately call 'Ice Cream Season'! I mean with the summers already on a roll and going well into 40 degrees, ice cream is the one thing constantly on my mind to cool me down. While juices, smoothies, gelatos, and shakes are also what I indulge in to beat the heat, I can't deny that ice cream has always taken position 1 on the podium in terms of preference. However, this year I have been indulging in frozen desserts consciously than in ice creams. Now what is that you may ask and how is it different? Well that was exactly my question when I first came to know that frozen desserts and ice creams are different, and this post will tell you all about it.

My Authentic Thai Food Experience at ‘Songkran Festival’ at Renaissance Mumbai
When it comes to food that I have eaten on my travels, my Thailand trips will rank as some of the top ones on my 'foodilicious' list. Thai food is one of my favourite cuisines and I find it really exotic. The contrast of flavours is what intrigues me the most - sweet, spicy, hot, sour and rich along with the awesome fragrant smells of the dishes. Yum! Well this is exactly why the invitation to celebrate the ‘Songkran Festival’ - the Traditional Thai New Year at Renaissance Mumbai got an instant yes from me. Chef Cham Hun and his team of culinary experts first showcased a few of his signature recipes at a Masterclass in association with Godrej Natuure's Basket, and then they hosted us for a scrumptious Thai dinner.

Your Farm to Fork Heaven - The Saboro Lounge By Mahindra
I believe in the power of food grown locally and the farm to fork concept. Farmers markets though rare in Mumbai, help me satiate that craving of getting not only fresher and more seasonal produce but also more nutrients in my food, due to the shorter time between harvest time and my table. It also helps the local farmers to put back into their business and maintain the farmland and green spaces around the region. Not to mention the benefits of a shorter food supply source - less contamination, less chemical preservatives and at times better pricing. Now while this farm to fork concept is what I indulge in for home food, the existence of restaurants and cafes promoting this concept is a rarity. Talking about rarity, the players are few but I am glad to see homegrown companies like the Mahindra Group take up the initiative to bring such concepts to the market. As an extension of their Agri business, they launched their first Saboro Lounge in Mumbai last year that serves innovative fresh food designed in partnership with leading chefs and nutritionists, prepared using the freshest fruits, vegetables and dairy-based products, procured directly from farmers and brought to your table, so that your experience involves indulgence without compromising on the health factor.

Guest Post : Valentine's Cake Baking!
Sunday morning when I woke up and switched on my phone, I was greeted by the most beautiful and yummy looking Valentine's cake on Facebook. I follow a lot of cooking pages, so for a minute, I thought it was a picture from one of those until I saw that one of my cousins had actually baked that gorgeous looking cake and documented all the steps. Knowing that it had to be shared with you guys, I pinged her the next moment to share the recipe with me so that I could share it on the blog, and she instantly obliged. She has done a wonderful job on her first blog post, pictures and all and I am thrilled to be sharing Ashmita's Valentine's cake recipe with you guys.

Weekend Diaries: Thanksgiving At Renaissance!
Life today rushes by us at lightning speed, and we don't really get the time with hectic schedules to slow down and take a break until and unless we are not heading out of the city. Taking a break within your own city is not something that most people think of, but trust me we have some real jewels in Mumbai where you can head for a break. Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel is one such retreat on the banks of the Powai Lake that I take off to whenever I need an escape within the city as this place spells tranquility for me.

Quaker Feed A Child Campaign + Vikas Khanna's Healthy Oats Recipes
Being a relatively new mommy on the block, I am going through the issue that most moms face these days - how finicky kids are about eating nutritious food! Now that Aryaa has turned two, her palate has also developed quite a bit and she is getting very particular about what she wants to eat. Due to this, I have to be very thoughtful about how to get her to eat dishes with the correct nutrition value. I personally have been eating oats in its regular form for a long time, but never experimented with recipes with oats and that is something I discovered thanks to Vikas Khanna and the 'Quaker Feed a Child' initiative that he hosted in association with Quaker India and Smile Foundation on World Food Day.

Food Review Video : Nawab Saheb at the Renaissance Mumbai
This is my very first food review video of this amazing restaurant called Nawab Saheb located at the Renaissance Mumbai. It is a must-try place for old fashioned Indian cuisine dating way back in history, to the royal families of India. I tried a couple of dishes and I can't tell how mouth-watering they were.. You have to check out the video to know more! :)
I hope you liked the review enough to be tempted to head to Nawab Saheb right away! ;) I had the most amazing Dum Nalli Ka Gosht and that would be my most recommended dish to you out there!
In case you have missed my earlier videos, head to my YouTube channel to see them and do subscribe to my channel. :)
