I am back with my second Summer Perfect Juice recipe. Today I am sharing a juice recipe called Watermelon Mojito (non alcoholic okay which is why I call it a juice), which is a cool and refreshing drink along with being nutritious. Loved by kids and adults, it's a keeper! So let's begin!
Watermelon Mojito
Ingredients:
– 1 cucumber
– an inch of ginger
– 1 tbsp lemon juice
Cut the watermelon into cubes and peel and slice the cucumber. Peel the ginger and chop it into 2 pieces. Extract the lime juice and keep it aside.
This combination of ingredients in this juice is basically to cool down your system. It also helps to flush out the toxins in your body and is the perfect detox drink!
This recipe has hardly any roughage as the ingredients are more water based. One by one you need to put all the pieces into the juicer and you will see that this juice gets done really quick. You can choose to strain it or keep it all. Pour into a glass and add a few ice cubes if needed.
Watermelon is great for Vitamin C and Vitamin A intake along with some antioxidants, while cucumber provided Vitamin A, Pantothenic Acid, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Manganese, and is a very good source of Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Potassium. Ginger helps aid digestion and provides antioxidants, while lime juice provided Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Calcium, Potassium and Copper. Doesn't this whole concoction sound like a wonder drink? Well it tastes that wonderful as well! I am sure you are going to love it as much as I did!
