Time for husbands to #ShareTheLoad For Equal Sleep!

I recently attended the launch of the 4th chapter of Ariel's #ShareTheLoad movement and as always this year too they focused on something very very relevant. Over the years, Ariel has dealt with the question - ‘Is laundry only a woman’s job?’ in many different ways. This year, Ariel highlighted the existing household inequality in the areas of chores and sleep. Didn't think there was a connection between the two? Neither did I till I fell really sick last year (story to follow a little later).

Enterogermina - the reason for your kids #HappyTummies!

Hygiene plays a huge role in my life, especially more so because Aryaa has a habit of putting her fingers in her mouth. So a lot of must DOs exist in our lives when it comes to her playing, after her playing, before her eating, travelling and so on, so as to protect her gut, as her fingers are capable of transferring a lot of germs into her body. I am on a constant vigil because my biggest worry is her having an upset stomach leading to Diarrhoea.

1 in 3 kids suffer from Diarrhoea and it is one of the most common problems in children today. At such times, most mothers are usually unsure on what to do when the kid is down with Diarrohea. Recently at the Enterogermina #HappyTummiesMeet, we learnt about ways to manage Diarrhoea with expert paediatrician Dr. Zinal Unadkat, not to mention the fun time that the kids had. Here’s info that will be helpful for you too from the Enterogermina #HappyTummiesMeet that I attended.

When a fashion blogger who is also a total foodie, especially with an undying love for coffee, is invited to a one of its kind preview which combines food and fashion at one of the most adorable cafes that Navi Mumbai has to offer, you know it is something that is not to be missed! Well I went with that instinct and landed up at The Koffee Works at Kharghar for their first ever 'Food Meets Fashion' preview and it was an afternoon that I will never forget :) Hosted by Ishaanee Haware, CEO, The Koffee Works, along with Heli Shah, a well-known designer in the fashion industry, it was an afternoon of amazing coffee, great food and a gorgeous festive collection that I wanted to own most pieces out of!

Launch of the New and Innovative Fair & Lovely Powder Cream!

It may come as shocker to most of you but according to a study, an average mother gets only 17 minutes of ‘me time’ each day for herself. This however wouldn't shock most mommies like me because I'm sure we all can count those 17 minutes on our fingers ;-) Motherhood can mean a lot of changes but looking good needn't take a hit as that should be one of the few things that we must focus on in our ME TIME. I had shared a 5 minute Mommy Make-up tutorial with you guys in the past to show you how possible it is, but my latest discovery is going to make that time even shorter, as well as reduce the repeated need of touch-ups thus saving so much effort and time. I am talking about the new Fair & Lovely Powder Cream that combines brightening powder with fairness cream which works its effect for up to 14 hours while keeping the skin nourished, and gives you a flawless look throughout the day without the need for touch ups, thus giving you a set look for the whole day.

The spotlight is on Fun with Vodafone U! #FunWithU

Kids of this new generation are absolute digital addicts. Their solution to every situation lies on the internet. They want to share every minute of their life either over some social media channel or with friends over a chatting app. Fun via the world of internet, voice, music is an integral part of their lives and the need to stay connected for the smallest thing is what is becoming the DNA of the youth today. All this means a lot more data consumption but are the mobile networks providing pocket friendly solutions to them?  In this rapid growing demand of technology, people are constantly looking for deals that will cost them cheaper but provide more benefits and here is where Vodafone brings a first of its kind, Lifestyle Proposition for the youth - Vodafone U.

Precious moments with Calvin Klein...

Calvin Klein recently launched two of its most beautiful collections ever, Spellbound for Women and Earth for Men in Mumbai as a part of their A/W 2015 collection launch in India. Ri(t)ch Styles was one of the privileged on the select guest list invited by them to preview the to be launched collections and spend time with the brand and their favourite Diana Penty. The venue was the stunning Asilo at Palladium Hotel and we had a beautiful evening spent with the precious collections by CK as moments seemed to just fly by.

Calvin Klein's every collection makes my heart skip a beat and this time was no different. I fell in love with the gorgeous Spellbound collection where time pieces and jewellery were encapsulated in python embossed leather in stunning colours, and stainless steel to captivate your senses. You are bound to have people asking you about this collection if they see it on you. The grey set from the collection fit in so well with my outfit, that I kept it on for most of the evening :)

There were collections on display other than Spellbound too and my next favourite was the Period 3 collection. I particularly fell for the rose gold watch with a mother of pearl dial. It has a classy design with a bracelet look which is unique and gives the wearer a feeling of being different. Looks very pretty on the hand too :)

The rest of the range was quite stunning too with pretty time pieces and jewellery that could take you from casual to work and day to night.

From the men's range, the Earth collection was definitely my favourite and I particularly liked the aspect where the dial colours had been matched to the strap colours. The ruggedness of the collection was what made it to my must have list as once in a while I do love wearing men's watches for the androgynous appeal and for my love for big dials :)

Other than the highlight which was the Earth collection, Calvin Klein made sure that the men have a huge choice this A/W right from watches to accessories to jewellery.

These pieces will soon be available across all Calvin Klein outlets for you to own, so keep your patience for a bit just like I am :)

As we were spending precious time with the brand that evening, we shared all our moments with the hashtag 'ckminute' which is a globally used tag for admirers of the brand and evangelists alike celebrating their moments with Calvin Klein watches. Check out my moments across social media with #ckminute to know more on the lovely evening :)

The Piku Collection by Melange by Lifestyle and my inspired look

The country is going gaga over Piku and Shoojit Sircar has proved that he knows how to hit the right chord with the audience by bringing out fresh concepts to watch. Having an exceptional star cast has also worked for this movie as Amitabh Bacchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan would be any director's Dream Team for a movie like Piku. While I can go on raving about the movie, I am going to touch on my next favourite part of the movie which should be an obvious - Deepika's look!

I was recently invited to the unveiling of the 'Piku Inspired Collection by Melange by Lifestyle' by Deepika and Irrfan and I really liked the look created for her character. Deepika's look in the movie is stylish, functional and comfortable and is a perfect marriage of modern meets ethnic. I loved her easy breezy style with kurtis, palazzos, jeans, jackets and scarves seamlessly paired together for a very realistic approach to her character. Here's what Deepika had to say about her look!

A video posted by Ritcha@RitchStyles (@ritcha) on

There was a fashion show to take us through the entire Piku collection which was heavily dominated by black, white and red and there were quite a few pieces that caught my eye. Deepika also crowned the winner of the Piku Melange contest held by Lifestyle.

Lifestyle also let me choose from the Piku Collection by Melange and here is what I put together inspired by Deepika's look in the movie :) I went with the quintessential combination of black and white by combining a classic Chikan kurta with black linen pants and a black bandi(jacket) with tassles and white block print on it.

In case one wants, one can also add a black dupatta to it to give it a more ethnic touch.

I've put together a casual Indian look for the first time on my blog and it's been quite good fun. As always Melange by Lifestyle gave me a fantastic collection to choose from and I am looking forward to adding some more pieces to my wardrobe. The black linen pants are so comfortable that I am practically living in them now and it can be paired with a T-shirt or a short kurti too. While I go and pick up some more pieces for myself, this is a collection that I would surely recommend for you girls to go check out too!
