Summer Perfect Juice Recipes - Carrot Ginger-ale

With a hot hot summer on our heads and also because of the lockdown, I have decided to switch aerated drinks and other packaged drinks, with healthier options. Cold pressed juices are my all time favourite because of the nutritional value that they contain, and this summer it is going to be all about them. So I am sharing some easy peasy recipes. In case you don't have a cold pressed juicer, don't worry, you can make these with your regular juicer or food processor/mixer, because that is still going to be healthier than having other packaged drinks.

Today I am sharing a juice recipe called Carrot Ginger-ale that is super refreshing and nutritious. It's kid-friendly too! So let's begin!

Carrot Ginger-ale

Ingredients:
– 3 medium to large carrots
– 2 red apples
– an inch of ginger

Peel and slice the carrots, cut the apples into pieces, and peel and cut the ginger into two halves, like in the picture below.

This juice has a lot of roughage from the ingredients so you will also need a strainer if your appliance doesn't have a separator. One by one you need to put the pieces into the juicer and let them get crushed before the juice pours out of the juicer mouth. Start with the apple, then the carrots and finally the ginger. If it is a mixer where you can't put the ingredients one by one, start in the order mentioned and add the next ingredient after the previous one gets pureed. Finally strain the mixture if needed and the juice is ready. Add a few ice cubes if needed.

Carrots are a rich source of Vitamin A and potassium. It is also good for the eye sight and skin, and with growing kids, it is very important to provide them with necessary nutrition for their complete growth. Apple is a fruit that contains a lot of antioxidants. Ginger takes good care of the stomach health and helps in digestion. It also acts as an antiseptic and prevents from getting cold. So it is the perfect juice for kids during the summer as due to in and out of air conditioned rooms making them exposed to hot and cold conditions, they often catch infections in this season. Adults too who suffer from sinus, would benefit a lot from this juice.

The juice tastes really good and has the right amount of sweetness via natural sugar. I am sure everyone is going to love this Carrot Ginger-ale juice a because it is full of vitamins, antioxidants and the required nutrition necessary for us.

Do let me know how did you like the juice when you try it at home. I will be sharing another juice recipe too very soon that you will definitely enjoy!
