Fitness Series Episode 1 - 6 Simple Mobility Exercises to Improve Flexibility and Reduce the Risk of Injury

 

Don’t underestimate the power of mobility exercises! These simple movements can improve flexibility, increase range of motion, and reduce the risk of injury. Hence we are kick starting our series with these first. You can do a minimum of 5 reps and a maximum of 10 reps of each exercise. Check them out in the video where we show you 6 Simple Mobility Exercises to start your workouts with.


Importance of mobility
1. Upper body mobility - helps avoid injuries while workout and improves blood flow especially around shoulders.
2. Lower body mobility - helps to stretch our hamstrings and inner thigh. Also helps to avoid lower back pain and injury.
3. Mobility exercises can also help to improve posture and reduce muscle imbalances, which can lead to better overall physical performance.

This is the perfect warm-up before you start any workout.

For the upper body mobility exercises you can use a resistance band (like me) or a PVC pipe (like Milind).
