The Little Pink Dress!

We all have our favourite 'Little Black Dress' and I have a couple, but lately I have a favourite 'Little Pink Dress'. I bought it during my birthday shopping last year, but it has been the perfect dress for the Indian Summer that we are facing, and so most of you have seen me on Instagram wearing it quite regularly during the lockdown. I think the term 'LPD' would be just apt for it!

My Rekindled Love for Crop Tops!

Until a year ago, I was always on the fence about crop tops. I adored the trend but wasn't ready to embrace it because I always thought it's not for me. But how wrong was I! I was aware of all the styles in the market, the ways to wear them, and I knew all the styling tips too as far as a crop top was concerned, but never applied any of them for myself, till one day, a realization dawned upon me. 😀

6 ways to Twin with your Daughters!

Let me be very honest! 😀 One of the main reasons why I always prayed to God that I should have a daughter was so that I could play dress up with her. I mean isn't it cute when mommies and their daughters dress up in matching outfits which we now call TWINNING? Not only is it fun, but it also makes for really good photo opportunities! 😉

Perfect Blue Summer Dress + Styling Tips!

After a white dress, I think nothing screams summer more than a pretty blue dress. I chanced upon a beautiful one which you see above during one of my sourcing sprees, and while it didn't fit my sourcing requirement then, it fit the bill for a beautiful blue summer dress that I always wanted to own and so I bought it that very instant. What made the buy even better was that it's made from pure cotton which makes it even more apt, cool and comfortable to wear for the hot hot weather that we face in the summers.

The Forgotten White Dress!

I know you must be wondering why the blog post has the title it has, so let me tell you a little story about this pretty white dress, which gave the blog post it's title. I bought this maxi dress from Forever 21 in the monsoon of 2017 (July to be precise), right when I got back from the USA after my vacation. Though the monsoon had started, when you see a white dress that subtly spells sexy, literally calls out to you and looks great on you too, you obviously are not going to leave the opportunity to buy it right? So I obviously didn't care that I would have to wait to wear it, because I definitely didn't want to not buy it, and then regret it later. So there it was in my shopping bag and home that very day. Little did I know, that because I wouldn't get to wear it a few months, I would completely forget about it. Very unlike me but yes it happened! 🤦

Off shoulders and summer - the apt combination!

This post is #sponsored by Macy’s x Tommy Hilfiger. All opinions are my own

The first time I saw an off shoulder outfit, I was 10 years old - it was Belle's off shoulder gown in Beauty and the Beast, and I couldn't wait to grow up to wear something like that. Little did I know that by the time I grew up, the shoulder baring trend would be in full bloom where it would encapsulate everything from formal to casual and I would never have a dearth of options.

Summer is the perfect season to bare those shoulders - I prefer the slightly fuller ones like mine than the skinny ones. It just makes off shoulder tops look super cute! I am sure a lot of you there agree with me. Well this summer, I found the perfect Tommy Hilfiger Paisley Print Off The Shoulder Top at Macy's, pretty and timeless!

For today’s blog post I have teamed up with Macy’s to showcase to you their pretty evening shoes from Blue by Betsey Johnson.

With such amazing weather bestowed upon us these days, it's the perfect time of the year to play dress up and step out for those dinner dates and drinks with friends. It's the right time to don those pretty dresses and wear dainty heels and have some fun! The past week for me has been amazing. I shopped till I dropped, well at stores and online, and some of the stuff that I got are so amazing that your jaws are going to drop! One of my scores were these sparkly Elsa Evening Pumps from Blue by Betsey Johnson at Macy's. I ordered these online last week and they reached me in no time.

3 Desi Twists To Your Western Wear!

The Indo Western fusion look has always been one of my favourites. Especially the combination of Indian accessories with Western wear. Making them work together is something that comes naturally to me, but I have always received queries from a lot of you on how it can be done. Most people haven't moved beyond the Kurti Jeans look, but trust me there is so much more that can be done. I am going to tell you 3 simple ways in which you can add the 'Desi' twist to your Western wear.

UAE Style Diaries!

My UAE trip specifically to Sharjah was an amazing one a few months ago, with Sharjah Tourism and Air Arabia taking awesome care of us. We travelled across the Sharjah Emirate and I also got a little time to head out to Dubai. The weather we were told would be on the colder side, but that it would rain and turn super cold is not something that I had expected. Thanks to the internet and weather predictions, I had somewhat prepped my packing up with stuff that could protect me to quite an extent, and was glad that my habit of checking the weather before heading anywhere worked in my favour. Bringing to you in this post, some of the outfits that I wore on my trip!
