Committed to Care – Adapting community outreach during COVID times

My association with Nestlé’s Healthy Kids Programme dates back to 2016 and you all have seen me talk about the initiative since. They celebrated their tenth year anniversary last year, and I was happy to be a part of this commemoration. The Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme was started in 2009, to spread awareness on health and nutrition. In 2014, Nestlé partnered with the Magic Bus India Foundation with the aim to scale up their initiative.

Summer Perfect Juice Recipes - Carrot Ginger-ale

With a hot hot summer on our heads and also because of the lockdown, I have decided to switch aerated drinks and other packaged drinks, with healthier options. Cold pressed juices are my all time favourite because of the nutritional value that they contain, and this summer it is going to be all about them. So I am sharing some easy peasy recipes. In case you don't have a cold pressed juicer, don't worry, you can make these with your regular juicer or food processor/mixer, because that is still going to be healthier than having other packaged drinks.

Today I am sharing a juice recipe called Carrot Ginger-ale that is super refreshing and nutritious. It's kid-friendly too! So let's begin!

A child's most important development years - The first 2 years of their life! #1000DaysforKids

Aryaa's birth was a life changing moment in my life! Everything changed, especially my perspective towards a lot of things and I knew life would never be the same again. I am so glad that I have family and especially my parents around to guide me at every step. My mom was the strongest guiding force, for what mattered the most - mine and Aryaa's nutritional needs. She made sure I got the right nutrition for Aryaa's feeds to provide her all that she needs and once Aryaa started eating other stuff, she was my perfect guide for that too. Infact in my recent workshop with Healthwatch Clinic's Dr. Zubeda Tumbi - Diet Consultant and Nutritionist, I realised that I was 90% on the right track and that was quite comforting. Well everyone has different ways to bring up their children, but as long as you are on the path that provides them with all that they need to grow well, it is all good.
