Enterogermina - the reason for your kids #HappyTummies!

Hygiene plays a huge role in my life, especially more so because Aryaa has a habit of putting her fingers in her mouth. So a lot of must DOs exist in our lives when it comes to her playing, after her playing, before her eating, travelling and so on, so as to protect her gut, as her fingers are capable of transferring a lot of germs into her body. I am on a constant vigil because my biggest worry is her having an upset stomach leading to Diarrhoea.

1 in 3 kids suffer from Diarrhoea and it is one of the most common problems in children today. At such times, most mothers are usually unsure on what to do when the kid is down with Diarrohea. Recently at the Enterogermina #HappyTummiesMeet, we learnt about ways to manage Diarrhoea with expert paediatrician Dr. Zinal Unadkat, not to mention the fun time that the kids had. Here’s info that will be helpful for you too from the Enterogermina #HappyTummiesMeet that I attended.

As per Dr. Zinal Unadkat, Diarrhoea is caused by the following:
  1. Infections caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites
  2. Allergens
  3. Change in diet
  4. Change in weather (happens when we travel too)
  5. Strong medication like antibiotics or laxatives
  6. Change is water (happens when we travel too)
  7. Widespread epidemics
The symptoms that you can use to identify Diarrhoea are:
  1. Stomach ache and cramps
  2. Watery stools
  3. Fever
  4. Headache
  5. Nausea and drowsiness (caused by dehydration)
  6. Loss of appetite
  7. Reduction in energy levels
Management of Diarrhoea:
  1. Fresh fruit juices
  2. Boiled water
  3. Breast milk for kids who are still being fed
  4. Zinc
  5. Probiotics like Enterogermina
With all the care that I take, Aryaa has had Diarrhoea only once in her life and that time her pediatrician prescribed Enterogermina to us, and she was hale and hearty in no time. Since then, we always have it handy as well as carry it with us on our travels without fail. Enterogermina is every Paediatrician’s No.1 Choice. We all know that there are good bacteria and bad bacteria. Probiotics are bascially live bacteria and yeasts that are good for our digestive system and keep our gut healthy. Enterogermina leads to #HappyTummies. Dosage should be administered as directed by your physician and all age groups including kids, adults, elderly people, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and even infants can use it safely.

For me the learnings on Diarrhoea at the event were immense. There was a cute skit as well that they enacted for our kids to understand the concept better and the kids loved it. Games were played for them to differentiate and test their knowledge on good food and junk food and I was glad to see that Aryaa knew the difference.

The TVC closed the event on a great note with the kids dancing on the jingle. I was glad to be able to get Aryaa for an event where she enjoyed as much as I learnt.
