Kareena Kapoor at the Cosmopolitan Awards 2011

I am not at all a fan of Kareena Kapoor, but for the 1st time in my life, I felt she looked GORGEOUS at the Cosmopolitan Awards 2011 in a nude colour sequinned halter maxi by Elie Saab.

Elie Saab is one designer to watch out for!

Doesn't she simply look drop dead gorgeous?? I loved Sandra Bullock in her Vera Wang gown which she carried off with so much poise at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards! What I loved even more is how she stayed minimal with her jewellery - just well cut diamond studs in her ears and simple diamond bangles, neither too big nor blingy which gave a very elegant look. Make up too was as natural as could be, with just the right shade of red on her lips. She carried a clutch a shade darker than the colour of her gown for it not to blend in but also not look too distinctly different.

A total thumbs up from me to the lady in red! :)

Love this simple but easy and chic wavy hair do on Vanessa Hudgens. Perfect for the beach. So I call this look Beachy Waves :D

Am surely gonna try it the next time I hit the beach! :)
