5 Amazing Ideas For My Dream Home!

Ri(t)ch Styles Casa Grande Amazing Ideas for my Dream Home

Everyone has their own version of a dream home. Some would love to live in a luxurious apartment, some would want a row house and some would like to have a villa. Mine would be a modern villa by the beach or really close to the sea! Well not just that, my dream home will have my home design fantasies come to life as much as possible. My fantasies are inspired by what I see on my travels, in movies, in books and of course on the internet, especially Pinterest. I have putting together my ideas and documenting them for a while now, so that when I finally have the resources to have my dream home, it is nothing less than perfect!

If you guys are planning your dream home in South India whether in Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kodaikanal or Cochin, do check out the Casa Grande Projects which have amazing apartments, row houses, villas and plots on offer, and some of them are close to the ocean just like how I want it! They have over 68 residential projects and each of their projects offer a range of signature experiences while being value for money. My eyes are currently on the Casa Grande Elita, Luxury villas in ECR, Chennai - a 10 villa luxury property with the sea at an arm’s length on the ECR. 4 bedrooms + 2 living rooms make up each 3385 sq ft villa. This beautiful video will show you its gorgeousness!

How I would apply my ideas to personalize the villa is what I am sharing with you guys today, and the 5 things I will have in my dream home are:

1. A Theatre Room

As a family, we love watching movies but going to theatres is not possible all the time. The solution to that is having one at home which is also a. As a child, I have enjoyed a lot of movies at home thanks to my dad using a projector and projecting movies on the wall. The whole feel paired with coke and popcorn to create a theatre kind of environment, would make movie nights the most looked forward to times of the week. It is one of the best ways to spend time with the family without the hassle of stepping out or buying tickets. Not to mention, you can watch any movie of your choice , whether old or new. You can easily convert the family room on the first floor of the Casa Grande Elita villa as in the pictures above, complete with a box office look and feel!

2. A Wine Station

Catching up with friends over a glass of wine at home is an ideal way to de-stress. Sipping on wine along with my meals is also something that I enjoy. Our parties at home also always have a variety of wines on offer. Which is why, a wine station at the bar would be ideal. It not only is convenient, but looks amazing and easy to use for everyone to serve themselves on their own. As you can see, the sparkling white modular kitchen in the Casa Grande Elita villa is so spacious and wonderfully designed, and a wine station would look great as an addition.

3. Vintage Dining Table Area with a Chalkboard

Since childhood, my parents have always made sure that for atleast one meal, all family members eat together on the dining table, and spend that little family by discussing all what happened in the day. Childhood habits are hard to change, and so even now me, Aryaa and PS make it a point to have dinner together. I love vintage dining areas and I often visit hotels that offer that kind of a dining experience. To add to the luxury appeal of the Casa Grande Elita dining area, my plan is to have a vintage dining table, with pretty chandeliers and a chalkboard on the wall, which will have what is being served for the meal written on it.

4. A Swimming Pool

One of the amenities that excited me about the Casa Grande Elita was the fact that there is a exclusive swimming pool for the 10 villas. I have always dreamt of having a swimming pool with my dream house because I am a water baby and so is Aryaa. It will be the perfect way to relax, will give respite from hot days and will also be a great alternative to lead a healthy lifestyle.

5. A Walk-in Wardrobe

A fashion blogger deserves to have a walk in closet right? 😉 With the variety that I have in my wardrobe, I would love to have a walk-in wardrobe where everything is arranged in sections and I exactly know what corner am I supposed to approach for clothes, shoes, accessories and bags. A woman can never have enough clothes and this is one thing I am looking forward to having in my house. Casa Grande Elita villas have 4 bedrooms, so I can easily convert one into a Walk-in Wardrobe. Some day soon!
