Diwali Style Guide - Retro Gold!

A full ethnic look is not always my go to for festivities - switched it up this Diwali with this look! You can call it a DIY look! It comes in the genre of Indo-western but I called it a DIY because its got elements put together that were originally not together! A bell sleeves shirt paired with a lehenga skirt, and some pearl and kundan jewellery - a look that is surely going to make heads turn! 😍😍

Gold and white is an eternally classic combination and has been one of my favourite combinations, which is why those were my go to colours when I thought of this look. Having pieces in your wardrobe in these colours really helps when you decide to put together separates to create an outfit. The outfit gives out some serious retro vibes to it thanks to the voluminous bell sleeves, which adds so much drama and appeal, and the antique coin ring. I went in for a heavy smoky eye - black and gold, and matte lips, which sealed the look.

I think experimentation with your wardrobe can result in a lot of fun outfits like these thus preventing you from spending a lot on a new outfit 😉 And a look like this is just Diwali perfect! It's got the comfort and the GLAM much needed for a sparkly Diwali outfit! Hope you guys have a great Diwali and if this post inspires you in any way to create some DIY looks do share them with me on ritchstyles@gmail.com or any of my social media below! 😊
