The sunshine to my storms - yes that's what Aryaa means to me - My Sunshine Girl, which is why I gave this title to the blog post because she truly is a ray of sunshine. She has made me happy every day since the day she was born, and trust me I do not exaggerate that at all. She is such a happy girl every day, other than a few 5 year old attitude and tantrum moments. In fact till the age of 3 she barely would cry or even throw a tantrum - she was the happiest kid I had seen. I don't say that because she is my child, it was just how she was. I do not deny though that now there are days she makes me want to run away sometimes, especially during this lockdown, but at the end of the day she is the only one who can turn my grumpy mood into a happy one. Her voice and her hugs and her thoughts, nothing for me is more innocent, cute and soothing!
Aryaa has been a ball of energy and sunshine since day one. She is a Tornado and she can drive you nuts, but she also always looks at the positive side, and comes up with some crazy ideas, which I find is the perfect balance! And our lives are all colourful thanks to her, because Art is one of the most important things in her life. In fact she is the perfect business partner I have in this business of blogging - patient, fun and always trying to come up with some unique suggestions when we shoot, and some of the content that you see also has Aryaa's inputs used to execute.
Ask her who is her favourite, and the answer will be "MOM"! Trust me it makes my heart melt when I hear that coz girl's favourites are mostly their Daddies. She always comes and pats my back when she sees mummy tried but didn't succeed which are followed by her 3 most thoughtful words - "It's ok mama!" But she also sees my success and celebrates with me when I finally succeed. I know that if she has ever learnt anything from me, it's that if you work hard, you can make things happen. Even when the world thinks that you cannot!
So to my sunshine girl, who I know is going to go places, for me everyday is Mother's Day coz you make it special every day. I am glad that I got to spend this lockdown with you by my side. Don't know when we will ever get these times again as a family but I am grateful. You are the best! You bore my storms and you calmed them too. Thank you! 💛💛💛💛
Doesn't Aryaa look the cutest in all the pictures? I just loved her dress and and the way she radiates in it. Yellow is the perfect colour for summer and I love how pretty Aryaa looks in this colour. What I love about this dress is the pearl detailing on the top, the embroidery on the jacket, and how versatile it is as it can be worn in 2 ways - with and without the jacket. Due to the vibrant colour, I just need to add simple accessories - cute hair clips and her pretty white Mary Jane shoes, and Aryaa is set! 🌻🌻🌻
