Too Stylish, Too Soon?

If you notice these days, not only are adults super stylish, but our young ones are even more stylish. Now there is always a debate going on how much is too much and isn't it too soon to be so particular about their dressing? But I clearly think that as long as it is not over-priced and is pocket-friendly, I think it's all good. Looking dressed to the nine on a budget has always been my policy 90% of the time, and that is what I think matters as far as dressing up Aryaa goes as well. Looking good is important and so we do best what is in our capacity. Sometimes for special occasions it might be an exceptional case, but as long as you know that you are going to wear whatever you are buying more than once and can justify it to yourself, then go right ahead and make your kid wear it. The world will anyway have an opinion to give. So if you ask me - "Too Stylish, Too Soon?", I would say - "Nope! I like my child looking good and she loves to dress up too, and I am not breaking my bank doing it!" 😊

My Sunshine Girl! 🌞🌞🌞

The sunshine to my storms - yes that's what Aryaa means to me - My Sunshine Girl, which is why I gave this title to the blog post because she truly is a ray of sunshine. She has made me happy every day since the day she was born, and trust me I do not exaggerate that at all. She is such a happy girl every day, other than a few 5 year old attitude and tantrum moments. In fact till the age of 3 she barely would cry or even throw a tantrum - she was the happiest kid I had seen. I don't say that because she is my child, it was just how she was. I do not deny though that now there are days she makes me want to run away sometimes, especially during this lockdown, but at the end of the day she is the only one who can turn my grumpy mood into a happy one. Her voice and her hugs and her thoughts, nothing for me is more innocent, cute and soothing!

Summer Clothing Tips for Toddlers to Beat the Heat!

Ri(t)ch Styles Bumchums Kidswear Summer Tips

As the summer has started to set in, dressing Aryaa up has become tricky business, because she as most kids just can't bear the heat! 40 degrees in March itself is a terrible thing to face, and when I can't bear it being an adult, imagine how much worse our little ones must be feeling. This year with summer setting in early, we need to start prepping up in advance too. When it comes to dressing up our toddlers, here are a few simple tips that you can keep in mind to help them beat the soaring mercury!

The new #PepeKidInTown!

When it comes to denim, there are very few brands that I tend to pick up and Pepe Jeans London is one of them. It was one of the first denim brands that were a part of my wardrobe as an older teen, and my mother was the one instrumental in adding that to my wardrobe. Come 2015, they announce the most amazing thing to happen - They are extending their global expertise in the kids wear category which was introduced in 2004 in their home market, finally to India! For a mother like me who loves dressing her child up, what better news could their be? I too will finally follow my mother's footsteps and make Pepe a part of my lil girl's life though at a much earlier stage thanks to this launch :)

The #PepeKidInTown launch took place last week at Tote on the Turf in Mumbai, and Aryaa received her first official invite for this event. She had a ball! The launch setup was like a kids carnival. The runway was gorgeously created with a dreamy feel and had balloons floating all over. Tara Sharma and Alesia Raut walked with their kids, while Natasha Suri, Anchal Kumar and Shveta Salve walked the ramp with their nephews and nieces. It indeed was a cute affair!

They have launched to currently cater to children in the age group of 4 to 12 years. The Autumn Winter 2015 Collection is their first collection and consists of  casuals that Pepe Jeans is synonymous with such as their classic jeans, stylish denim jackets and cool printed t-shirts and shirts for boys; and gorgeous coloured jeans, denim shorts, skirts, playsuits, cute tops and pretty dresses for girls.

Let me give you some more details on the collection via some more information and cute collages! :)

Pepe Jeans London little girls

I was really excited to check out what they had in store for little girls and discovered that the Pepe Jeans A/W '15 girls collection consists of 2 distinct stories. Indigo Essentials is a combination of light blues and dark blues, washed, mixed or blended and are combined with pale reds, pinks and touches of grey marl. Some of the dresses had a cute boho feel to them and it looked adorable on the little girls on the runway. Downtown Playground consists of cool and playful styles with unique prints like pretty florals, polka dots, stars and graphic embroideries in textured elements. The colour palette here consists of bright corals, brick reds, and blue which is the signature Pepe colour. Can't wait for them to launch the toddler range for girls! :)

Romper Mania!

I loved the cute little romper with the lace detailing and the jacket with the aztec print on the sleeves. Fits in perfectly together to create an adorable look! :)

It's Play Time!

Denim shorts are a kids staple and this cutout emboidered shorts with this baby pink t-shirt make for the cutest play time outfit. Comfy yet smart!

Too Cool For School

Short skirts on little girls make me go awwww and this all denim with a bright sleeveless top is the perfect school outfit for your little lady :)

Dress to Impress :)

Dresses are a part of every girl's wardrobe and are the girliest things that our little princesses can own :) These floral and polka dot ones are my favourite!

Pepe Jeans London little boys

When it comes to the Pepe Jeans A/W '15 boys collection, they make people like me who don't have a boy, crave to have one thanks to 3 super cool distinct stories that they have created. The Indigo Collection consists of cool washes and strong prints. The colour palette comprises of the lightest to the darkest blues with focus on brick red and gold. Outer wear and shirts are key to the Bohemian collection inspired by the great outdoors and you can see checks in different sizes amplified to its best to suit a kiddie range but remind you of adults. The Classic Sport look is very university inspired with embroideries, appliqués, and union jack inspired graphics. Colours are a perfect mix of bright and classic tones, rugby greens, classic shades like burgundy and navy with gold highlights. The collection surely spells out fun!

The Cool Dude!

These yellow coloured shorts will be the brightest thing to pep up your child's look with that nice mint t-shirt. Throw on this star print denim shirt to up the coolness quotient for your little dude!

Playdate
Playdates are fun times and this lovely collared t-shirt with these cargo pants and eye catching denim jacket is perfect for that outing. You want your kid to look the best and this look will do that trick!

Check mate

Check shirts on little boys are the cutest things ever and this hoodie shirt with washed out denims would be my go to look if I had a boy :)

Fall Sporty Style

Boys and sports go hand in hand and looking stylish yet not compromising on comfort is what this look is all about! The tracks and henley are your best bet and if it starts to get chilly then just throw on this 'will-make-heads-turn' jacket :)

Aren't you as much in love with their collection as much as I am after seeing these adorable looks? Well then head to the nearest store and start shopping.
