Ohanzee is the brainchild of Gauravi Muranjan - a Commercial Artist by profession and now Founder & Designer at Ohanzee. She loves experimenting with colours, textures and materials - detailing and crafting unusual items of art. Shuttling between India and Manila, she creates exclusive eye-catching pieces to put on grabs!

The philosophy at Ohanzee is very different. Let me tell you about it :)

Ohanzee is not just about the jewellery, but the attitude a woman carries. They specialize in bespoke handcrafted jewellery for the woman who hates to follow the herd!

Started by young designers in April 2004, they strive to create exquisite, one of a kind accessories keeping in sync with the ever changing fashion trends, thus catering to the needs of trendy women of all ages. Whatever your style - chic, sassy, retro, traditional or just plain fun, they're sure to have something for you. Their designs are a mix-n-match of Indian designs with a little western feel making them versatile and creating a "TRENDITIONAL"look.

Accorrding to them, jewellery is a great opportunity to express your individual style. Hence, all pieces at Ohanzee are unique one-of-a-kind, making each creation a once in a lifetime piece that one shouldn't miss!

As far as I am concerned, my verdict about Ohanzee is that they have strikingly gorgeous pieces and every piece that I have from them has people complimenting me all the time :) What is also find unique about them is the monthly pre-order sales for their monthly collections that they have every month as a Facebook event. Currently they have their February 2013 sales on and you can check it out at - http://www.facebook.com/events/251248915008258

Date Nite!

The sweetest thing ever - A surprise by the husband(PS) to take me out on a date on a friday nite! So out came a bright new top with a sexy back and my brand new necklace by designer Jesal Vora. There I was all set to be whisked off for an awesome nite by my Prince Charming!

My first try at a Gin concoction - Pretty neat!

Yellow Top - Bugis (Singapore)
Blue Corduroy Pants - Ijeans by Shoppers Stop
Necklace - Jesal Vora
Gold Cuff Bracelet - InPink
Clutch - Accessorize (last seen here)
Gold Ballerinas - Linking Road

On my eyes - A blend of 3 shades from MAC and Clinique
On my cheeks - Mocha Pink Powder Blush from Clinique
On my lips - Vegas Volt from MAC

PS knows I love surprises but his work schedule hinders a lot of plans. More than me I think he was delighted that it worked out! ;)

The necklace is a gorgeous piece with a coral rose, pearls and blue glass beads. I knew I was picking it up the moment I looked at it. I also loved a lot of other Jesal Vora creations when I visited her store which I will be sharing with you guys in a post soon. Other than that, the gold ballerinas were a steal at just INR 150($3) from Linking Road. The yellow top has a sexy back with straps starting from the shoulders which you can see. Sorry but my camera that nite was acting funny so couldn't get too many good shots. Next time for sure :)

OASAP - A blend of fashion and charity

Online shopping has taken over my life is such a big way I can't tell you! Gone are the days when I used to be vary of it and couldn't buy things until I tried them on or checked them out in person. Shopping online over the past few years has now made me soo open to it that I don't think twice buying something that I like off the internet. Since it allows me to be in tandem with the trends without having to take time out from my busy career and home to go to the stores, it's a must try recommendation to everyone who are suffering from the symptoms that I expressed above ;)

One of the online retailers that joined my list in the recent past is OASAP - a global online store dedicated to high-street fashion offering the latest designs in women’s apparel, bags, shoes, jewellery and accessories. They offer Free shipping with a 'No Minimum Buy' condition which pretty much is what makes me really happy when I order online.

I've ordered twice from them wherein the first time I ordered a necklace, and the second time I ordered a dress which is on its way :)

I also have a wish list lined up for my next few buys :) Can't wait to order those too!
The other thing that I loved about them was OASAP Donation - OASAP Ltd's charity project. Here funds are accumulated in two ways:
1. OASAP draws off 1% from each paid order into fund pool, while you need not execute any extra payment
2. You can pay extra 0.5(it may be $0.5,€0.5 or £0.5 according to the currency of your payment) when you checkout from OASAP order, this additional payment is also put into the fund pool.
The focus is on two aspects of public welfare assistance - refugees and children in difficult situations. It is mainly used to solve the difficult lives of the refugees and children facing problems of hunger and those that are out-of-school.

The quality of the necklace was nice and although delivery to India takes a while, its was worth the wait :) I will be putting up outfit posts with my buys soon! Hopefully the dress will reach me soon too!

So, the verdict is that OASAP.com is recommended by me for sure to all online shoppers! :)
