A memorable Goan Anniversary :)

Zig Zag effect  colour-blocked Necklace - Chicnova
Top - BHG (Singapore)
Shorts - Promod
Bangles - Linking Road, Mumbai
Bag - Ruby (Singapore)

Shorts are the staples of any beach holiday, and I decided to dress up a pair for the anniversary evening outing.. So out came a striped bikini top, a linen singlet and a multi colour necklace. Adding to the colour, was my yellow sling bag and there I was all ready for the celebrations :)

PS and I spent some time at the Vagator cliff just gazing at the sea, taking in the calmness and enjoying the lovely evening.

And then it was time for the celebrations for which there was no better place than Brittos to head to! :)

A gleaming Ri(t)ch Styles team post the eating and drinking escapade! Cheers!

Couldn't have asked for a better 3rd anniversary! :)

The Goa Anniversary Story!

Well, the story is that PS and me celebrated our 3rd anniversary this month and we suddenly decided to head out of town to celebrate that. For a celebration, a last minute trip and a short weekend break, no destination can beat Goa! So that's exactly where we headed to :)

And when in Goa, it's all about comfy beachy colourful clothes!

Aztec print Top - Kiosha (last worn here)
Skirt - Forever 21
(last worn here)
 Pink Tube - Bangkok
Yellow Sling Bag - Ruby (Singapore)
Flip Flops - Old Navy (USA)
Sunglasses - Ray Ban

This top is turning out to be one of my favourites. I love the Aztec print and the fact that the front is cotton and the back georgette. Can't make out right? :)

Perfectly Valentine!

Asymmetrical Sheer Dress - Forever 21
Gold Cuff and Earrings - InPink
Dark Gold Clutch - Irla Market, Mumbai
Diamante Sandals - Giovanna, Singapore (Last worn here)

A feminine and flowy look for Valentine's nite! :D

After the Rock Chic day look(which you can check out here), this look was perfect for my Valentine's dinner with PS. I'd bought this dress from Forever 21 on my Singapore trip last year and was saving it for the right occasion to wear which aptly turned out to be Valentine's! :)

The asymmetrical sheer trend has been in vogue for a while now but what I fell in love with was the colour of the dress.. Pairing it with gold accessories, I added just a pop of orange to the outfit through the earrings. What felt great was that the outfit gave me an absolute 'romantique' feel - Perfectly Valentine! :)

By the way, did you know that Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and China celebrate something called as White Valentine's Day, on March 14, one month after Valentine's Day? In Japan, on Valentine's Day, girls/women give men chocolates as an expression of love, courtesy, or social obligation and so on White Valentine's Day, the men are supposed to reciprocate the gesture. In the other Asian countries it's the opposite. Cute! :)

Well Romwe has decided to be extra nice and hold a special Romwe White Valentine’s Day Sale :)

Double Discount:  Up to 70% OFF+ Extra 15% OFF over $65 (Code: whitevalentine)

From 28/2/2013 to 05/03/2013

Rock Chic on Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is here but somehow I just couldn't get myself to wear an absolute feminine look for the day.. I was in the grunge mode and so a rocker look was what made its way on me for the day! Something way different than my usual affinity for dresses and jackets :) However Oxblood is my new favourite colour and my Oxblood pants are my most favourite piece of clothing at the moment. So as Valentine's is a day for favourites, I decided to pair these with a white vest, black waistcoat, and my other 2 new loves - buckle low heel black boots from Ahaishopping and black fringe bag from Chicnova that came just in time for Valentine's!

Well there isn't much more to say other than "Happy Valentine's Day" and on my look, comment you may ;) Ha ha ha! Atleast I am being poetic on Valentine's ;)

Printed Top - Thailand
Black Waistcoat - Bugis (Singapore)
Oxblood pants - Ijeans from Shoppers Stop
Buckle Low Heel Boots - Ahaishopping
Black Fringe Bag - Chicnova

Am now planning a feminine flowy look for the night! :) Another style that I haven't worn before.. So keep watching this space to check that out soon!

What are you guys wearing this Valentine's? Looking forward to hearing some stylish stories :)

Travel Tales: The Singapore Flyer

When you want to take in the whole of Singapore in a single glance, head to the Singapore Flyer. The Singapore Flyer is the tallest Ferris wheel in the world at a staggering height of 42 stories. A complete 360 degrees round takes half an hour during which you can see the entire view of the city including bits of Malaysia in the night. The view is beautiful, something you will never forget. How the 30 minutes get over, you don't even realise :)

I wore my beloved purple pants with a simple loose satin shirt and my leopard print bow flats, so basically a simple outfit because the heat that day was unbearable and it was important to wear clothes that let some air get to you!

Black Satin Top - Cotton On
Purple Pants - Spring Break (earlier worn here)
Leopard Print Bow flats - Forever New
Golden Bag - Sisley
(earlier worn here and here)
Pearl and Horse shoe pendant necklace - Accessorize
Bangles - Hill Road and Colaba Causeway

The Singapore Flyer in motion
The Marina Bay Sands hotel and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

The floating stadium
The Marina Bay waterfront
Gardens by the Bay
This is the last post in the series on our Singapore trip. We didn't click any pictures on the last day of our trip but those memories are imprinted in our minds forever :)

How did you like the Singapore Travel Tales? Would love to know.

Travel Tales: Singapore's Casinos

I love casinos thanks to Singapore! I have lost count of my visits to them now and I have interesting stories but not any that I can share on the blog ;) Singapore has 2 casinos with the casino at Marina Bay Sands being the latest to join the bandwagon. The Resorts World Casino on Sentosa island was the first one to start. Betting values at the Marina Bay Sands are lower so obviously more value for money :)  and hence this is where we headed on this trip.

Before I left for Singapore, I'd ordered the Beads Embellished Bound Waist Pleated Dress from Oasap and what luck that it reached the day we were leaving. So, happily I packed it for the trip, knowing exactly where I was gonna wear it. What I love about this dress is the minty blue colour and the pearls on the top front. I love pearls if you guys didn't know.

PS kept his look basic yet stylish and off we headed to the casino at way past midnight :)

Minty Blue Embellished Dress - Oasap.com
Golden Bag - Sisley
Pinkish nude heels - Charles & Keith
White Shirt - Marks & Spencers
Jeans - Pepe
Belt - Zara
Shoes - Pavers England
Watch - Tommy Hilfiger

PS kept a tab on me and we spent and won enough to enjoy the night. Not that we came back with any winnings since we spent it all ;) but it was a worthwhile experience :) Since the Casino is open 24 hours, I would suggest visiting it in the night since you can use your day for other things like shopping ;)
