Luxury Services with MyGlamm right at home!

Everyone loves to pamper themselves and there is nothing like a visit to the salon to make a woman feel good about herself. But with my hectic schedule and a toddler to run after, it was something that I used to give up a lot in the past, until I discovered MyGlamm. It was personally a rough week for me just before LFW and with no time for the salon, it was the perfect time for me to finally try MyGlamm after having heard so much about their home services.

The Glamm Team provides services in the comfort of your home from the French L'OCCITANE Spas, the New York based Warren Tricomi Salons, Forest Essentials, Moroccan Oil, Novalash, Christine Valmy, HD Brows, the fashionable ELLE Spas & Salons, and many more. You can book their services online, or from their app or call them. I decided to get their Forest Essentials Facial done and the Spa Manicure & Pedicure.

Forest Essentials Facial

Forest Essentials is an ayurvedic skin care luxury brand known in India for their highly effective organic products. Their facial care range possesses Himalayan spring water that is rich in mineral deposits and has therapeutic and regenerative qualities that works wonders on the skin. I went in for the Advanced Forest Essentials facial that gave me not only a glow for that moment but also gave my skin the much needed nourishment that it required. The process involved cleansing, scrubbing, steaming, black head removal, product application and penetration using ultrasound, half an hour of face and back massage, and ended with a pack application. Throughout the facial, with every step I could feel my skin feeling softer and a sense of calm setting in. The entire process took about one and a half hours and costs INR 2850.

Thanks to the facial, I could avoid heavy makeup in this humid weather as my skin had such a lovely healthy glow to it.

Spa Manicure & Pedicure

Having seen the array of impressive brands and services on their website, I opted for the Spa Manicure Pedicure from a brand called Aromatherapy Indulgence which though I didn't know about, I didn't mind trying on the suggestion by the MyGlamm Team. Post the services, it definitely turned out to be a good choice once I saw the results. Both the manicure and the pedicure involved usage of a cuticle cream, cleansing, scrubbing, application of a nourishing mask(that was left on for a short while) and then ended with a massage lotion. All these help in removing dead skin cells, nourishing, reducing tan and left my skin really soft and supple. I liked how it was hygienic as each step was packed into a one time use sachet. The pedicure costs INR 1000 and the manicure costs INR 800 and take about an hour each.

I loved how it turned out and while I have an injury in my feet due to which I am not putting up the pedicure picture, you can see the results in the manicure picture :)

Verdict - The therapist turned up absolutely on time which was something that I was very happy about as blocking 4 hours and then having to waste any can be a pain. She was very professional and timely in imparting the services and was really polite. I have definitely concluded that if I can get services that I want using great brands in the same time and price as a salon, without having to spend that additional time stepping out, this is totally worth it. Add luxury of time to the luxury services provided - life can't get any better, can it? ;-) By the way, they have services of all price points, so depending on your budget you can make your choices :)
