2013 was a great year for the blog! Many more posts than the previous year and in bits and pieces introduction to newer lifestyle aspects. Thank you for the following, constant support and words of encouragement that you guys keep putting in to make the blog better. Neon Accents

Not always in the mood to rock a single shade vividly hued neon piece because you want to go the minimal way, but still want to wear neon? Then you can do exactly what I did :) This lovely multi neon coloured top with ABCD written in different shades of neon from Persunmall.com was the answer to the problem of how to do neon in a minimal way without using too much of one solid colour of neon.

The KAZO Spring Summer 13 Collection + Favourite picks Video + Giveaway

KAZO is a label that I have been wearing for quite a few years now. I find their designs and fits really comfortable. They recently invited me to review their SS'13 collection and I really loved the variety they had to offer this season. Lots of yellows, limes, pinks, whites, blues, monochromes, neons, aztec prints and lots more! I can go on and on :) Highly recommended and a must check out!

I picked my favourites from the collection and put together 2 looks for them - a day look and a night look, for which we shot a video. To know more about the collection, check out the video!

NEON!!  

Nothing spells bright the way it does! A trend that the 1980s loved, and we can see the love coming back once again in a big big way. As a kid, I used to gawk at women wearing neon, wondering what were they thinking when they wore colours that hurt our eyes and today I myself am hooked on to that trend! Times change :)

A dull Sunday made me crave for some brightness while stepping out for dinner and so out came my latest neon acquisition - The batwing sleeves neon green blouse from Chicnova. Balancing it out with neutral accessories - a retro style leather shoulder bag from Romwe (another latest buy) and my favourite slingbacks from Charles & Keith, I stepped out not be bothered by the numerous stares that I got. I had a good time, what else matters!!!!

Fun Shoot! - White, Neon, Gardens & the Sea

A few weeks ago I styled a fashion shoot for Kriti Sharma Photography which she had thematically conceptualised as white with a touch of neon, against a backdrop of gardens and the sea. Sounds pretty isn't it? Well it was. Normally I never get up at 6 AM on a Sunday but since this had to be an early morning shoot and also because it sounded like fun, I was up and running and on location at time :) It actually turned out to be a fun shoot, with us goofing around while we got some fabulous shots that I'm sharing with you in this post!

Mixing Neon and Bling

You guys must have noticed how much I am lusting over NEON yellow these days.. It's over all my social media pages especially the blog(last post with neon is here), facebook page and pinterest! Can't get enough of it *sigh* And now this sale season has added fuel to my lust resulting in a lot more Neon getting added to my closet.

Day before was my bestest and most gorgeous girlfriend's birthday.. Any guesses who? :) Well none other than my darling MOM! Girls can never have anyone more precious as their best friends than their moms! :) 

I decided to dress in my finest for a casual dinner and so out came my ultra feminine and bling radiating Gold maxi tulle skirt, a white chiffon singlet and my latest Neon acquisition - a statement neck-piece from Blur Designs. (I can't get enough of their jewellery!) Mixing Neon and Gold with one basic colour piece in the outfit always works... Atleast for me ;)

Steal Deal - A Neon Monsoon!

Just like you, I'm obsessed with Neon colours too these days! Did I hear some of you say that you don't like Neon?? C'mon, you're kidding me and yourself ;) Who doesn't like Neon? Especially for the monsoons its perfect! Bright enough to drive all the dullness away :)

Yeah I heard the right answer- Yeah! It's a Neon umbrella in my favouritest shade - Neon Yellow!

And in a shape I always wanted - Square! :) The icing on the cake is the price - INR 390 ($7)

This umbrella is gonna keep my days happy and bright!

Wanna add some neon to your monsoons? Go get one for yourself too! It's available in a bright green and pink as well. But do so before it gets too late and there are none left.. So rush now!
