I too had a great day especially all the efforts i made brought a smile to my mothers face which was simply out of the world. She never expected such a surprise from a lazy laid-back daughter like me ;)Well, I pampered my mom like this -
1) Got up early (earlier then her waking up time)and placed a bouquet with a sweet love note on the dining table, place where she sits in the morning with her jar of water. U can guess very well, how her reaction would be... :)
2) When she went to bathroom - a saree was gift wrapped for her in her fav. YELLOW color. She came out dancing like a peacock asking whose plan was it :*
3) In the meantime I had prepared chilli cheese toast and coffee...she was on cloud 9 :)
4) Asked her not to cook meal as its Sunday, we going to have lunch together with family. I had already booked the tickets for *Junglebook* ; so she liked it but missed that Jungle Jungle baat chali pata chala hai...song ;)
5) Lunch was also special, as I ensured to take her to the restaurant she has heard a lot about and wanted it to try someday...*MACHAN* She loved it and said next time we will celebrate any occasion here itself :p
6) Since it was Akshya Tritya as well, she got yet another surprise from us..a diamond ring won her heart (she teased my dad...u didnt think of solitaire) ;)
7) Went to Eco Park...best one in Kolkata with water activities and lush green beauty, enjoyed the evening there watching water musical show and gossiping...had our dinner at Balle Balle Dhabba :D
8) Returned to home..she found a card and a letter in her wardrobe, i went to click her pic but found her crying while reading it. She gave me a tight hug and said 2 lines which made me so proud n eleated...She said - *Bahu ..beti se bhi zyada pyar kare..ye kabhi socha hi nahi tha...badi kismat wali hun jo aisi bahu mili* She kissed my forehead while Dad came and asked me...Fathers Day Kab aata hai :P
