The New Moroccanoil Smooth Collection Review! #MOSmooth

Frizzy hair has become an issue for most women today. This is happening because the current generation doesn't really believe in oiling their hair and thus crops up the problem of managing hair that gets dull, rough and unruly, due to constant exposure to pollution and the weather in our respective cities be it humid or dry. All this has given hair care brands a challenge to provide such a product that acts like an oil as well as helps in taming the hair. Moroccanoil the global leader and pioneer in professional oil-infused beauty products, to battle this problem it has come up with the new Smooth Collection, a revolution in smoothing designed for all hair types to provide instant smoothness and manageability. It simultaneously strengthens, nourishes and conditions the hair. The key ingredients of the new range are the proprietary Moroccanoil argan oil-infused blend, argan butter as well as coconut derived fatty acids.

Moroccanoil has come up a great kit with 4 formulations for the Smooth Collection which includes the Moroccanoil Smoothing Shampoo, Moroccanoil Smoothing Conditioner, Moroccanoil Smoothing Mask and Moroccanoil Smoothing Lotion. They together give you glossy, sleek and smooth hair that you want to touch again and again.

Moroccanoil Smoothing Shampoo & Moroccanoil Smoothing Conditioner

These are the first steps to smoooooooooth hair :) They are gentle cleansing and nourishing formulas with the advanced and proprietary AminoRenew™ ingredient that infuses hair with depleted amino acids to strengthen hair and align its natural keratin structure thus smoothing the hair from inside out. The effect when used together stays for up to 72 hours. Since I have fine hair and the moisture content in the products are high, my hair weighs down after a day or two and hence I use them on alternate days. The shampoo does not lather too much but it does its job so let that not bother you :)

Moroccanoil Smoothing Mask

This is a divine product. It deeply nourishes and intensely hydrates the hair thus providing long lasting conditioning with improved elasticity. It is a weekly treatment whose results you can start seeing in a couple of weeks. The hair is much softer, shinier and manageable without any dry ends. thus making styling a breeze.

Tip: Please make sure to wash it out well as it takes time to wash out. At least for my fine hair, it took me about 5-6 minutes to wash it out.

Moroccanoil Smoothing Lotion

Looking for a lightweight styling product that is perfect for that regular blow dry which is a must for you? This Smoothing Lotion is your answer. It provides instant control, medium hold that is great for my fine hair and frizz-free definition thus making your blow dry look flawless. You look like you have just stepped out of the salon after that expensive blow dry. This also contains Vitamin E which boosts oxygen supply to the scalp thus creating a healthy scalp environment as well.

Price: INR 2250

I love the smell of the Moroccanoil products. Even the earlier ranges had this amazing smell that filled up your bathroom making you not want to step out and so does this range. The packaging colours are their regular branding colours of sea blue and white which gives a very premium look to the products as always.

The range is free of sulfates, phosphates, parabens which is what my key requirements are when I am looking at picking up any hair care products especially cleansing and conditioning. You know I have coloured hair so you must have also realized these are also completely color-safe. These are meant for all hair types and has no variants for different hair types. It definitely is a little heavy on the pocket but is worth every penny because of the fuss free and manageable hair that it gives you. Do go check it out and let me know your views.
