I've filled up my wardrobe with a lot of basic jackets in the past 2 years, so I thought it was time for a statement jacket to make an entry into my wardrobe. What better than a jacket from Quirk Box to take this leap. :) Quirk Box, is a fresh and fun label with an array of lifestyle products with loads of attitude and spunk. Founded by Rixi Bhatia and Jayesh Sachedev, this is one label that is going to go places!
The Toy Factory Dolls Boyfriend Jacket was what I picked ( you can also buy it here). I love the quirky look of the cute dolls on it and the pink colour exudes a feminine appeal. An occasion just perfect - the launch of Imran Khan's debut collection for Denizen (covered in my previous post) suddenly got scheduled that week and I couldn't think of anything more appropriate to wear as it was sure to add that Oomph to my outfit ;) Imran liked the jacket too and inquired multiple times about it :)
The biggest tip when wearing a statement jacket is to let your jacket do the talking and keep the rest of the outfit simple and toned down. So that's what I did, I kept the look simple by pairing it with jeans, a black t-shirt, basic black heels and my favourite Mango bag. Jewellery was bare minimal.

The other highlight of the launch was I got to meet some really sweet bloggers at the event. Amena, Ila, Gargi, Rachana and Diana, Karishma and Bhavna. We had a great time talking about blogging and gossiping. They have some really fun blogs - do check them out! :)
