Live.. Breathe.. Be Glamourous!

This is exactly my state of mind this summer and thanks to Liva - the natural new age fluid and breathable fabric by Birla Cellulose, it's been one of the best summers of my life. Light-weight, fluid, soft, comfortable, natural and most important breathable, Liva is the new way of life for me, perfectly summed up above :)

Chemistry is a brand that I love for it's easy and non fussy silhouettes and comfortable clothes. It also is one of the accredited partners of Liva and when I was approached for a collaboration to style my favourite Liva pieces from it's collection, I had to show you guys what I meant by the versatility and fluidity of Liva :)

I was spoilt for choice with the gorgeous designs that Chemistry has created with Liva. So many awesome silhouettes, flowy dresses, colours and I just couldn't feel the weight of the clothes - you really wonder if you have worn as many clothes as you actually have.

Let's start with my most favourite!

White dresses are summer perfect! I loved the slightly asymmetrical look of this dress and the crochet. The dress fell beautifully over my curves and the flowy nature of the material can be seen clearly here. Now let me show you one more way that I styled it!

The amazing part about Liva is that you can layer your clothes even in summer without feeling the heat. The lightness and breathability factor of the fabric makes layering summer appropriate too. This floral jacket caught my eye on first glance itself and it took me no time to pair this ensemble together with a woven tan belt and a tribal necklace.

Tie and Dye is another favourite trend of mine and Chemistry had the most gorgeous maxis made with Liva in beautiful colours to choose from. I have a weakness for pink and so that was what I chose.

I am quite a minimalist when it comes to jewellery and so this statement shell necklace with these enameled gold bracelets were just enough to jazz up the maxi. I wish I had a teleporting machine to teleport me to the beaches of Goa after donning this look for a nice romantic walk and dinner. :)

My daily life is spent lounging more in pants and comfy bottoms and I found the perfect pair to style for you guys for an easygoing look that can take you from work to dinner.

White and blue is the simplest combination to put together and to spice up the outfit, I first added the necklace which was purplish blue with green stones and then added a sequin clutch in green and blue tones which totally gave life to the look! It's all about making the thought process simple.

These were just a few of the many awesome pieces and if you have been following me on Instagram and Twitter then you must have seen the other pieces also that I loved! Go check out Chemistry and trust me you too will start believing my Liva mantra! :)

Sunny Side Up!

Summer this year has been the worst ever in years and most of us have dreaded stepping out into the sun for the fear of a sun-stroke or a migraine or a really bad tan. However getting enough sun is also very important for the sake of our health as it helps in the generation of Vitamn D which is essential for bone health, protecting against colds and fighting depression. That's exactly why you and me need to get more of the 'Sunshine Vitamin' to have a healthy and happier life. With the summer soon going to come to an end, catching the Sun God in the city of Mumbai during the monsoons is a tough task with the unending rains that we have. So step out and chase the sun before it decides to start playing hide and seek with us :)

Nothing beats a sunny day like in a beachy town be it Goa or Koh Samui or Krabi. That's where stepping out to have some fun in the sun makes complete sense to me. Add to that some beer, good food, fun stuff like scuba diving, shopping at the flea market or lazying on a beach bed and you are sorted! So think of a holiday and head out which is my perfect idea of summer and sun!

Fashion for me doesn't take a backseat when it comes to stepping out in the sun. I love my shorts, flowy dresses and comfortable, fluid and breathable fabrics and I think one of the best inventions lately has been the Liva Fluid Fashion fabric.

Dress to impress not just others but yourself while keeping it realistic has been my motto forever!

So while you #ChaseTheSun with me, do one more thing that I am doing - click a #Sunfie just like me and capture your special and fashionable moments in the sun be it just yourself or with loved ones :)

Share your #Sunfie on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and tag me too if you want me to check them out :) Do it before the sun disappears and who knows how lucky you might get!
