#FeelFullStayLight with the New Saffola Active Soups

I recently started working out regularly after a few failed attempts in the last couple of years, and this time I have my fitness goals chalked out with no scope for failure. Those who know me know that I can't diet and need to keep eating every few hours, that too something that is yummy and not boring. I work out in the evenings now as that is what my routine permits, and so I need to fuel myself well before a workout and that too with something that fills me up and does not make me get hungry quickly. I also need to eat the right thing after my workout for my fitness efforts to take effect. To satisfy so many things without taking too much trouble is where most of the problem arises.

Well it was a problem till last week, until Saffola told me that they were sending me something that would erase all these worries of mine - something that is low-calorie yet super tasty and also fills me up at the same time while keeping me light. And boy oh boy, you have got to see what they sent to me via the iconic Mumbai dabbawaalas in the most adorable and charming old world dabba packaging - The New Saffola Active Soups!

The soups came just in time for me to have a cup and then head to the gym after a bit and trust me, not a single hunger pang till I got back. Something that nothing else in the last 2 weeks had been able to do. I was always really famished by the time my workout was done, but not this time. This happened because the New Saffola Active Soups have 5x more fibre than any other soup. 1 cup has the fibre of one roti. Fibre helps to boost your metabolism and you also need to expend more calories to digest fibre. The soups are also low calorie as consuming a cup of Saffola Active Soups provides you less than 50 calories which is just 2% of the your daily calorie requirement. So the end calculation is that there are barely any calories hitting your body while you enjoy a hot cup of delicious soup!

Saffola sent me 3 flavours but because I wanted to show you all 5 delicious flavours, I got the other 2 as well! You can choose between:
1. Rich Tomato
2. Chatpata Sweetcorn
3. Spicy Manchow
4. Spicy Vegetables
5. Sizzling Hot & Sour

They also sent a cute yellow cup to have the soup in! By the way, these soups are preservative free!

Each soup sachet is one cup/portion size and is under 20 gms and costs only INR 10 which is a steal. Super simple to make, all you need to do is:

That's all you need to do and in a minute you have a low-calorie yet tasty soup that is so filling! Drink this as a snack or have it pre-dinner and you can easily have a light dinner. These are convenient to carry in your bags as well when you are travelling as the snack on the go. You get bigger sachets too for family consumption but I prefer the smaller sachets that I was sent.

Soups are comfort food for me and easily lift my mood up too, so what better could I be eating. Also they will help me in achieving my fitness goals so the tagline is perfect - 'The tasty way to stay fit'. I highly recommend that you go and check these out, and make them a part of your routine to #FeelFullStayLight. Do drop in your experiences in the comments below! 😊
