Jaipur's rendezvous with fashion

When I think of listing down the most fashionable cities in India, Jaipur definitely comes to mind. The people there have a an air of royalty in their dressing and that has to be the case with the princely heritage that it has. Shopping in Jaipur has to be one of my favourite things to do, be it for Indian or Indo-western clothes or jewellery, and every trip of mine is incomplete without a trip to Johari Bazaar for its jewels and to Vhannah - Jaipur's most popular multi-designer store spread over 2500 sqft with over 40 designers labels under one roof.

Rajneeral Babutta is the lady behind the brand and the multi-designer store and she recently celebrated the 1st year anniversary of Vhannah with a fabulous celebration and a star studded fashion show with Neha Dhupia being the show stopper whose sense of style I totally love!

Vhaanah has become one of the most sought after stores in Jaipur when it comes to deigner wear and Rajneeral's inspiration has been her daughter Hannah and that is how the store got it's name. Rajneeral says “I am interested in what it means to live a contemporary life. To me its all about luxury without formality, considering my designs are catered to what works for a woman, feminine, precious and perfect.”

Vhannah has recently added some awesome designers to its offerings such as Samant Chauhan, Rajdeep Ranawat, Nitya Bajaj Birla, Niket Mishra and they showcased a preview of their collection at the Jai Mahal Palace at Jaipur. She already has been showcasing prominent designers like Sumit Das Gupta, Peppermint Diva, Anju Modi, Preeti Jhawar, Himmat Singh, Neha Modi, Mahi and many more along with Rajneeral showcasing her own designs.

Modern, fantastic yet rational has been Rajneeral’s motto and her vision is to create clothes that are both luxurious and wearable. Now you know why I visit the store for my buys and why you must too head there on your next visit to Jaipur! :)
