Travel Tales: Singapore's Universal Studios & Songs of the Sea

Our Day 3 at Singapore was dedicated to Universal Studios during the day and Songs of the Sea in the evening. Both are awesome and must not miss experiences on the Sentosa Island!

Kept the outfit simple yet chic - a statement print jumpsuit in a bright colour - Zebras printed all over a bright pink jumpsuit! I loved the outcome of pairing it with a simple belt. PS was as usual in his favourite holiday attire - T-shirt and shorts :)

Zebra Print Jumpsuit - Bangkok ( gift from sis in law)
Belt - Singapore
Sunglasses - Ray Ban (last worn here)
Flip Flops - Old Navy
Watch - Guess
Grey Pearl Bracelet - Urbantouch.com

T-shirt - FCUK
Shorts - AND Mens
Flip Flops - Puma
Backpack - Adidas
Sunglasses - Shoppers Stop

Isn't that Zebra print super cute? :)

This was my second time at Universal Studios which is located within Resorts World Sentosa. I loved the new attractions that have come up especially the Transformers themed ride within the Sci-Fi City zone. With PS by my side, I also gathered enough courage to sit on one of the roller-coasters called HUMAN which travels at the speed of 82.8 km/hour, avoiding collisions as it twists, turns and propels you over 14 storeys into the air. This ride totally ruined my plans of sitting on the next roller coaster called CYCLONE which goes upside-down. If Human was this scary then God only knows what Cyclone would be :O The Revenge of the Mummy ride is in total darkness with the wagon plummeting backwards into the unknown. Last time I went I did this ride twice :) The Shrek 4-D Adventure is a fun ride where in one of the scenes, water falls on you when Donkey sneezes - yuckkkkyyy isn't it?! The Universal Studios in Singapore isn't as big as the one in Orlando in the USA but still packs enough punch with its 7 themed zones for a single day. You ain't going back without visiting this when you go to Singapore!

Another experience which you HAVE TO SEE is the Songs of the Sea at Siloso Beach on Sentosa Island. This show takes place only after sunset and has 2 shows everyday. It is the world's only permanent show set in the sea with usage of water jets that could shoot up to 40 meters, lasers, flame bursts, computer animation, captivating music and a live cast. Water projection screens are generated with the help of the water jets and  images are projected on them. This was my 4th time to watch the show and I come back as mesmerised as when I first saw this show!

There are a lot more things to do on the Sentosa Islad but we have kept those for our next trip :) We took so many pics that it was really difficult to shortlist the ones to use for the blog. I seem to have been very sort of successful in reducing the number but my heart still wants to put up a lot more.
