Oriflame The ONE Lip Sensation Vinyl Gel - Review and Swatches

As the market sees the growing trend of matte lipsticks and matte finish liquid lipsticks, Oriflame decides to stay away from that trend and launch it's new range of liquid gel lipsticks that look like a gloss but have the colour intensity of a lipstick. The ONE range from Oriflame is known to have a great variety of products to choose from and the latest addition to that range has been the Lip Sensation Vinyl Gel which are liquid lipsticks. The ONE Lip Sensation Vinyl Gel is super light, goes on like a gel on the lips and comes in 7 different colours. It's been a few seasons since I tried a liquid lipstick with a glossy and shiny finish, so it certainly was refreshing to try it out after constantly using matte lipsticks for a while now.

The ONE Lip Sensation Vinyl Gel comes in 7 intense shades ranging from reds, oranges, pinks to purples. They are very easy to apply due to the glossy texture and the liquidity. These are non-sticky and are very well pigmented when applied. I have been using this for a couple of months now and I am loving the shades. In addition to the colour, smooth texture and non-stickiness, these lipsticks also have a conditioning formula. You can actually feel your lips moisturized and soft after you have applied the lipstick. One layer is enough to get the perfect colour on the lip, but you can choose to apply another layer to darken the shade depending on how you want the final result.

The 7 shades in this range are Sunset Burst, Malibu Blush, Hot Flamingo, Tangerine Tango, Purple Rumba, Pink Mambo, Magnetic Magenta. I have swatched them for you to get an idea of how they look!

Tangerine Tango

Malibu Blush

Hot Flamingo

Pink Mambo

Purple Rumba

Magnetic Magenta

The packaging consists of a transparent bottle with a silver cap and you can easily see the shade inside. However the shade names written are too tiny to read. The sponge applicator is a little flat so you need to be careful while applying, so as not to let the colour spread beyond the shape of your lip.

The lipsticks are priced at INR 699 for 5 ml. I found them a little pricey but Oriflame keeps running offers, so you can get great deals at times. Check them out here - https://goo.gl/njzMmX

I loved the shades Tangerine Tango and Hot Flamingo from the range. Also it was great to use a liquid lipstick that was so weightless and non-sticky. I did notice a slight plumping effect on my lips when I used this range, which once in a while looks nice. Overall this is a product I would definitely recommend to people who like glossy lipsticks but without the sticky and heaviness factors, as that would be the main reasons why I also would pick these up!
