My Bag Essentials from L'occitane

L'occitane is a brand that has a history with me way before it launched in India. An ardent lover of natural ingredients in skincare products, I was introduced to L'occitane when my dad bought home some of the travel kits that were given out to him in business class on his international flights and then I started looking forward to them after every trip of his :) When the kits stopped, I started making my dad pick up products for me on his trips abroad. No 'To Buy' list ever had this brand missing!

When L'occitane launched in India, Delhi was the city they chose to launch in and I was utterly disappointed. Eventually they did launch in Mumbai (whew!) and so, now I don't have to wait for my dad's trips abroad anymore :) In this post, I am gonna share with you the awesome L'occitane products that are a part of my everyday life and you will find in my bag all the time.

Shea Butter Hand Cream

I have really dry skin and Shea Butter (highly moisturising and a naturally occurring source of vitamins A, C, and E) is a must use for me to keep my skin hydrated. With 20% Shea Butter, this award winning hand cream satisfies that condition for me and all I need is a pea sized amount :) Absorbing quickly into my skin, it leaves behind a pleasant aroma of jasmine. It also contains almond oil and honey which are moisturising agents too, so all in all a total winner for me. Priced at Rs 530/- for 30 ml, you can buy it here
Tip: Those of you who don't have dry skin may find it oily so try it before you buy it :)

Sorbet Verbena Cooling Gloss

The word 'cooling' instantly intrigued me when I first saw this gloss and sorbet is one of my favourite desserts, so the combination of the words called for an instant 'have-to-try' shout from within me :) And aren't I glad I did! This gloss provides a cooling sensation while it moisturises your lips. You can feel the tingling cooling sensation on your lips a few moments after you wear it. This also contains shea butter so you can happily say 'bye bye' to chapped lips. Priced at Rs. 890/- for 15 ml, you can pick it up here

Green Tea with Jasmine Solid Perfume

Worried about perfume bottles when you travel or find them bulky in your bag? Here is the perfect solution - a solid perfume. With the new rules and regulations about carrying liquids on flights, this came as a saviour for me. Also it doesn't contain alcohol so it's not harmful for the skin. Just apply a teeny weeny bit and you'll see the fresh and sweet fragrance of green tea and jasmine lingers on for the whole day. The packaging is absolutely lightweight. A must-try recommendation for me, this is priced at Rs. 650 for 9 gms and you can get your hands on this here

Shea Butter Foot Cream

After using the Shea Butter Hand Cream for a while, I decided to try the Shea Butter Foot Cream. This is a dry skin foot cream and hence perfect for me. With 15% Shea Butter and Lavender Oil, it keeps my feet and soles moisturized. My feet actually look rosy since I have started using this. Not greasy at all, just like the hand cream you need to use just a teeny weeny bit for it to do its job. After using a number of expensive foot creams that hardly had any effect, I found this value for money at Rs. 1650 for 150 ml which also can purchase here
Tip: This is specifically meant for dry skin and so don’t pick it up if you don’t have dry skin. Those who have dry skin, for best results use it day and night.

L'occitane is having special promotions in the month of October where it is giving out this clip pouch free. I Find it really cute and handy to carry all my bag essentials within my handbag.

  3. I love this product - although not used it for a while. I had a little mini pot of shea butter which I carried round every where and rubbed into dry areas during the day . I do like the way you have review these products and the images are very clear as well
